How else can you cancel?
What happens after you cancel?
After you’ve closed your subscription with DoorDash’s DashPass, you’ll receive a notification in the app as well as an email telling you that your subscription has been cancelled.
What happens if you cancel during your free trial?
If you cancel during your free trial you will not be charged a subscription fee on your next billing date. Keep in mind that your free trial will also end immediately – not on the next billing date (unlike if you were a regular paying subscriber).
Why do people cancel DashPass?
One of the biggest reasons people cancel DashPass is because they simply don’t use it enough to justify the cost. If you’re not getting your money’s worth from a service you’re paying for, then there’s no reason to keep paying for it.
Another reason people cancel is that they’re nearing the end of their free trial. There are quite a few third parties that have partnered with DashPass to offer extended free trials, sometimes up to 3 months long. Once the free trial is nearing an end, they don’t think they’ll be using it anymore so they cancel instead of going on to be a paying customer.
Many customers also decide to cancel their subscription to DashPass after they discover some of the negative press surrounding their parent company, DoorDash. DoorDassh has been implicated in many complaints around the country, which may just be the final straw in pushing people to cancel. This is also one of the most common reasons people decide to cancel their DoorDash order as well.
Despite DashPass having hundreds of thousands of paying customers, not everyone’s happy with what they’re getting. If that sounds like you, hopefully, the steps above have helped you cancel your DashPass subscription in no time.
